My favorite Mexican place. The food is always hot, they have perfect portions, and it's always delicious. My favorite is the birria tacos. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. It's always super clean in there although really cold in the restaurant but that's just being nit picky. Can't wait to go again.
This place is the real deal! We stopped by on our way into Colorado Springs and were extremely happily surprised by El Rey Del Taco. Coming from California I will add this is one of the best Mexican spots I've been and if I were back in town I'd definitely stop by for what it's worth! The food is delicious and light yet delicious and filling, portions are on the large side and the chips are yumm! They have a self serve with so many options for salsa! The birria tacos were by far my favorites. Service was wonderful too and there is plenty of parking right out front.
What a find! It's in an obscure location, but everything was super tasty, the decor was very authentic and the service was great.
Yesterday we decided to try this place. New favorite in the Springs. Great food and Palomas. ladies. We tried the Birria Tacos and loved them, Pork Enchiladas Verdes with big chunks of pork, oh so good, and the Cochinita Pibil. High praise from this group. The beans were house made and smashed and they had a great salsa bar. We will definitely be back. Glad we took a chance!
Seriously one of the best Mexican meals I've had in Colorado! I had the combination 3 plate: 2 asada tacos on soft tortillas and chicken enchilada. Everything was perfect and delicious! All the sauces were yummy too. Excellent quality and service.
The food was so delicious and colorful! Authentic Mexican, hard to find a place that isn't the tex-mex standard. Very fresh with a good salsa bar.

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant in town!! Amazing staff and service, a huge salsa bar, and just good food at a reasonable price. We both got burritos, and they were to die for!! 10/10-everything was perfect. Except the bathroom had two toilets in one, which I found funny lol!!
This restaurant serves the best Mexican Food I've had in Colorado Springs so far. They serve a specialty dish called Alambres, which are basically fajitas infused with cheese, sausage and bacon. The chips & salsa is accompanied by a salsa bar with multiple salsas and accompaniments. The service at the restaurant was satisfactory but the food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food.
I've came here a couple times and I really like this place. I had the birria tacos and they are yummy a bit cheesy but yummy. Their burritos are good especially the Chile Verde one I always get The horchata to drink and tresleche for dessert. Yum!!! The have the avocado salsa that isn't too spicy it's perfect. Give this place a try!
